Shortly after graduating with her BFA, acclaimed Ontario artist Crystal Beshara became the youngest member to be elected into the Ottawa Watercolour Society, and was named one of Ottawa’s top three emerging artists by the Ottawa School of Art. A solo exhibition at the Canada Agriculture Museum led to the creation of When I Visit the Farm, which is written and illustrated by Crystal. She infuses these idyllic scenes with a sense of wonder and whimsy, drawing inspiration from her daughter’s joyful discoveries and reactions when visiting farms.
