Acclaimed author/illustrator Crystal Beshara was interviewed by CTV Ottawa’s Tricia Van Der Grint about her first book, When I Visit the Farm. Replete with color and texture, this beautiful picture book celebrates the joy of a child’s visit to the farm and her playful interaction with animals and nature.
We’ve come to the end of our drawing contest to celebrate the release of Penelope and the Preposterous Birthday Contest, by Vancouver’s own Sheri Radford. Fortunately, the results were outrageous… ridiculous… PREPOSTEROUS!

The association of Children’s Writers and Illustrators of BC is hosting a Spring Book 
Hatching, showcasing the newest books of more than 30 B.C. authors and illustrators, including Lobster Press author Sheri Radford! The event takes place Satuday, May 2, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Alice MacKay Room at the Lower Level Central Library, 350 West Georgia Street Vancouver, BC.
And, to encourage student attendance, CWILLBC is offering a draw for a free author or illustrator presentation (with an approximate value of $325) at their school.
